During Zach Wilson’s rocky sophomore campaign, the quarterback has made gains in the win column, touchdown percentage and yards per-game.
But he has also slipped in a critical area: Completion percentage.
After posting a disastrous 55.6% completion rate in 2021, Wilson has actually performed worse through 8 games this year.
Just 54.9% of his passes have been caught.
That’s last in the NFL among quarterbacks who’ve started four or more games.
The next worst quarterback, percentage-wise is Cooper Rush at 58.4%.
It’s one of several factors the New York Jets will have to consider in the offseason.
