Dalvin Cook’s reported $7 million guaranteed deal with the New York Jets would place him in 9th among all running backs this season for average salaries.
James Conner of the Arizona Cardinals is the other ballcarrier sharing that ninth place spot.
Not a bad score for the Jets, given that Cook has been a Top 3 back, at worst, the past four seasons.
The reported deal puts him just below Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants, Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders, and Tony Pollard of the Dallas Cowboys at $10.091 million.
