Josh Oliver to Vikings via Free Agency
The Minnesota Vikings and tight end Josh Oliver have reportedly agreed to terms.
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo announced the deal Monday on Twitter.
Garafolo reports the contract is worth $21 million over three years. Oliver will make $10.75 million guaranteed and can earn another $3 million in incentives.
Oliver was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
In his three-year NFL career, the 25-year-old has 26 receptions for 230 yards and two touchdowns.
Pro Football Focus ranked Oliver as the league’s second-best run blocker in 2022. He finished the season with a 74.0 run blocking grade and a 72.3 overall offense grade (#14 overall).
Minnesota adds Oliver to a tight end group that includes Pro Bowler T.J. Hockenson, Nick Muse, and Johnny Mundt.
The contract will become official on Wednesday when the new league year begins.
