Singletary’s numbers surging

As the Buffalo Bills enter the bye week, fourth year running back Devin Singletary is heading out on a high note.

In a huge victory for Buffalo in Week 6 over the Kansas City Chiefs 24-20, Singletary ran 17 times for 85 yards and caught 4 passes for 22 yards. He broke 100 total yards for the first time this season.

Singletary topped 90 total yards in the two previous games.  His production is trending upwards despite the amount of passing that Josh Allen and company have relied on during the start of the season.

The reason for Singletary’s surge?

More opportunities.

In three of the past four weeks, Singletary has received a combination of 16+ carries/targets.

Thats a sharp increase from weeks 1 and 2.

The only downside, however, is he only has scored 1 touchdown this season.

But that may change.

Fantasy owners take note:

Singletary has also gotten the highest percentage of snaps at running back for this season.

During the Kansas City Game he had 86% of the snaps during the game and has cracked more than 50% every game this season.
