The Dallas Cowboys organization was mourning one of its own Thursday.
Marion Barber III was a onetime Pro Bowler whose best years were spent in Dallas – including 2006 and 2007 campaigns where he logged a combined 24 touchdowns.
Barber was part of a 13-3 team in 2007 that included Tony Romo, tight end Jason Witten, Terrell Owens and a young Miles Austin.
But for all his highlights this two yard (yes, just two yards!) work of craftsmanship just might be our favorite.
This, friends, is giving everything.
Marion Barber was the definition of a tenacious runner. He always made something out of nothing. This was the most incredible 2-yard run ever.RIP. pic.twitter.com/NwFlgWLtxQ— Field Yates (@FieldYates) June 1, 2022

Barber fell onto hard times in recent years and battled mental health issues — one of many from his era to suffer that fate.
RIP #24.
