Roquan Smith may now be the next in a long line of feared linebackers in Baltimore.
The Bears Pro Bowler was traded to the team for a fifth rounder, ESPN reported Monday.
Smith will now become the latest in a long line of star linebackers to start for the Ravens, including Terrell Suggs, Bart Scott and Ray Lewis.
Smith has played in 69 career games posting 16.5 sacks, 1 FF, 607 total tackles, 47 TFLs, 20 QB hits, 7 interceptions, and 1 TD.
In 8 games this season, Smith has posted 83 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 4 TFLs, 3 QB hits, and 2 interceptions.
Smith was a former 1st round pick in 2018 and is heading into the final year of his rookie contract. He wanted an extension with the Bears, but the lack of an extension led to the trade request before this season started.
