Raiders grab QB and blindside protector in mock draft

Raiders Mock Draft

The Las Vegas Raiders have many questions entering this offseason.  Not the least of which is what to do at quarterback this offseason.

The first two rounds may answer those questions:

Round 1, Pick 9 – Paris Johnson Jr. OT – Tennessee

The Raiders trade the No. 7 pick to the Carolina Panthers who then give up their slot at Number 9 and their Number 61 pick in the second round.  The Raiders take Paris Johnson Jr and shore up their offensive line

Round 2 Pick 38 – Hendon Hooker QB – Tennessee

The Raiders nab their possible Quarterback of the future with Hooker who appears to fit comfortably in Josh McDaniels system.  The Raiders also resign Jarrett Stidham as a possible place holder before Hooker is ready.

Round 2 Pick 61 – Julius Brents CB – Kansas State

The Raiders shore up their struggling backfield and nab a player moving up the draft board.  His physical presence should match the history of physical corners the Raiders have loved throughout their history

The NFL Draft is scheduled for April 27-29 in Kansas City.
