QB Hand Size

Comparison of Top QB Hand Size from 2017-2022

Widely recognized as 2022’s top QB Prospect, Kenny Pickett, now has the smallest hands measured out of all top QB Prospects that we looked at since 2017.

The second smallest recorded was Jake Fromm (8.88″) in 2020. Fromm’s prospect ranking averaged 6th best overall QB in 2020. Fromm was picked in the 5th round by the Buffalo Bills.

Joe Burrow and Drew Lock both had their hand measured at 9″. Burrow was drafted #1 overall in 2020, and Lock was drafted #42 overall in 2019.

It remains to be seen if Pickett’s, less than a penny difference from Burrow, draft stock will fall due to hand size. Also of note is that Sam Howell and Carson Strong both measured at 9 1/8″ which is tied for the 8th smallest measured between top QB prospects.
