• Hugh Freeze, Liberty’s Coach, has no idea who will draft Malik Willis tonight, reported by Andrew Siciliano.

• The Jacksonville Jaguars have their first pick locked in, per Sara Walsh at NFL Network.

Kaiir Elam is now considered a top 4 CB in the draft, per Tom Pelissoro.

Willis (#20) and Pickett (#32) are the only 2 QBs drafted in the 1st Round, per Peter Schrager from Fox Sports and Good Morning Football in latest mock draft.

• The Arizona Cardinals have picked up the 5th year option for Kyler Murray.

• In an interview with NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark, Jameson Williams said the Eagles told him they’d like the chance to draft him.

• Pete Schraeger says Purdue’s Edge standout George Karlaftis could slip to the 20’s Thursday night. The top three pass-rushers will be gone by pick 12, GM’s told him.

•NFL Network’s Jim Trotter talked with Texans executives who said the chances were “50 to 60 percent” that they’d stick with the 13th pick. They could be one of a number of teams on the move.

• Jeremy Fowler of ESPN says Derek Stingley Jr. has muscled his way back into the Top 10 conversation. The New York Giants have been a rumored landing spot.

• NFL Network’s Judy Battista also weighed in on the Giants, saying they are “perfectly happy” to sit at picks 5 and 7 – given that they have 10 players with high grades on their board.

Atlanta Falcons GM Terry Fontenot acknowledged the club will draft a QB in this year’s draft but wasn’t going to tip his hand on who or when. Ian Rappoport noted the Falcons have done their homework on “all of the QBs.”  Malik Willis, meanwhile, is an Atlanta native.

• Will Thibodeaux be drafted at #2 by the Detroit Lions? Or does he drop to #4, per Mike Garafolo.

• The Jacksonville Jaguars have reached an agreement with OT Cam Robinson, potentially increasing the chance a defensive player will be drafted #1 overall, per Ian Rapoport.

• The 33rd Team is the latest of several organization’s saying the Jags will take Georgia’s Travon Walker with the pick.

• Count the Vegas odds among them. They took a sharp turn Tuesday, with Georgia’s uber-athletic Walker now the favorite to go No. 1 to the Jacksonville.

• The Chicago Bears DE Robert Quinn is drawing trade interest from several teams. Around The NFL is citing Ian Rapoport. But the Bears are not actively shopping him.

• The New York Jets may be targeting an EDGE rusher at four, but it’s not Thibodeaux, per Dane Brugler.

• ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the Jets beat writer, echoed Brugler’s statement on Johnson being a Jets favorite. He also mentioned Sauce Gardner at pick 4.
He says a possible deal between The 49ers and Jets may not occur until the 10th pick is on the clock – if the right player is available.

• The Carolina Panthers (Trade-back) and Baltimore Ravens are high on nasty Northern Iowa tackle Trevor Penning.

• The Dallas Cowboys could trade up to grab Thibodeaux if he slides in the draft, according to Albert Breer.

Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr tossed out a three word response to ongoing chatter that his Pro Bowl tight end might be on the move. “LOL no chance,” he wrote.

• The Houston Texans are the most “curious” team at No. 3 – that they could do “almost anything,” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, who speculates corner and offensive tackle are possibilities

• Pro Football Network’s Tony Pauline says Alec Pierce is moving up draft boards, with the Cincinnati receiver garnering second round grades from a number of teams. Pierce ran a super quick 1.46 split in the combine. The Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts could be options.

• Just months after retiring their franchise quarterback, could the Pittsburgh Steelers get to choose from all of the 2022 prospects to replace him?

• Speaking of McShay, he projects the Tennessee Titans at 26 might jump on a QB at 26, noting that Ryan Tannehill is 34 and that the team can afford a “luxury” pick to replace him in a future cap-saving move.

• Despite the social media gossip, it’s far more likely the Packers won’t dangle Jordan Love on the trade market until they can showcase him in the preseason.
