Entering his fifth year, Josh Allen looks to be one of the top quarterbacks selected in Fantasy Football.
Based on points, Allen was the number one quarterback in fantasy in 2021.
During the past two seasons, Allen has averaged at least 27.9 fantasy points-per-game.
He has consecutive years of at least 4,400 passing yards and 36 touchdowns, and he has at least 420 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in every year of his career.
However, it does appear Allen’s biggest weakness is in yards per pass attempt. That may be due to his tendency to look downfield. Three of his four seasons in the NFL, he finished with just 6.5, 6.7 and 6.8 yards per-pass attempt. He also had a career high 15 interceptions in 2021.
Allen does have a strong ability to spread out his targets, which should make some wide receivers and tight ends attractive for fantasy owners. His receivers had a league high 443 targets last season and Allen threw 10 touchdowns to tight ends last season. It would not surprising if Allen went in the first or second round in most fantasy leagues this season.
