Jordan Travis

Jordan Travis, Florida State QB, could be the biggest QB sleeper in the 2024 NFL Draft

Many questions are surrounding the 2024 NFL Draft and who will draft a quarterback.

In the AFC East, the New England Patriots and New York Jets could both be teams that draft a quarterback or are possibly looking at one.

One sleeper quarterback that has been attracting the eyes of many scouts is Florida State quarterback, Jordan Travis.

Travis is looking more and more attractive to many teams.

The Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, and the Pittsburgh Steelers could also be teams that could potentially select Travis.

The Patriots have veteran Jacoby Brissett as the penciled starter but could look at using their earlier picks to enhance their offensive or defensive line.

They could look to day two or three and Travis may fit that bill.

Pro Football Focus analysis of Travis is, “Travis is a good athlete, a tough competitor and a QB who has great intangibles for out-of-structure plays. His follow-through fundamentals are a mess, likely due to him needing more power on most throws, which leads to inconsistencies.  He is a developmental quarterback who will be a fan favorite no matter where he goes.”

Travis led the Seminoles to an 11-0 start last season, throwing for 2,756 yards before suffering a right leg fracture in November.

“He’s undersized but has an adequate arm and can help protect himself with his legs. The footwork isn’t always great, but he can throw effectively and fairly accurately as an improviser,” NFL.com’s 2024 Draft analysis adds.

If he comes back to form he could be a sleeper quarterback for any team who chooses to take a chance on him in Day 3.
