Garrett Wilson became the first New York Jets receiver in history to start his career with back to back 1,000 yard seasons.
Wilson caught a 9 yard pass in the 4th quarter to hit the mark in an otherwise brutal game for the team.
Wilson broke into the league in 2022 posting offensive rookie of the year-level numbers and has been the team’s most consistent weapon.
He hasnt had much help though, with 2023 free agent pick-up Allan Lazzard a huge disappointment in his first season with the club.
Wilson’s reception total as a pro is also a Jets team record for a 2nd year player.
