Jets moves give them $15 million in Cap Space

Jets free up Cap Space

The New York Jets haven’t landed their Hall of Fame target. But they keep working in-house to build up cap space to add to their locker room. Two days after restructuring TE C.J. Uzomah and cutting Braxton Berrios, the Jets reworked three more deals: Field Yates reported.

G Laken Tomlinson, CB DJ Reed (previously $14.1 in 2023) and TE Tyler Conklin (previously $8 million) all restructured, creating $15.2M in cap space for 2023.

ESPN’s Rich Cimini previously reported the Jets have reached out to John Franklin-Myers with a similar offer.

The team has been pursuing Aaron Rodgers, including a front office flight to California this week.
