Javon Hargrave free agency ends with a deal with the SF 49ers

One of the most dominant defenders in the 2023 NFL free agent class has found a new home.

Javon Hargrave, 30, will sign a 4-year deal worth $84 million ($40 million guaranteed) with the SF 49ers,  according to Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha.

Hargrave is coming off a Super Bowl appearance and a 60 tackle, 11.5 sack season.

He also posted a 78.2 PFF grade last season.

As impressive as that was, his performance rushing the passer was even better:  91.1.

That ranked third among all interior defenders.
