Robert Quinn

Eagles trade for three-time Pro Bowler

The Philadelphia Eagles traded a 4th round pick to the Chicago Bears yesterday in exchange for veteran defensive end Robert Quinn.

Quinn is playing in his 12th season this year, and the Eagles will be his 5th team. He made the Pro Bowl in 2013 (Rams), 2014 (Rams), and 2021 (Bears). Quinn was also a 1st team All-Pro in 2013.

The Eagles will be hoping that Quinn will be able to improve on his sack total this year (1 sack), and approach the 18.5 sacks that he got with the Bears last season. That 18.5 sacks broke the Bears single-season sack record.

Here are some other Robert Quinn stats for this season: 3 QB hits, 2 tackles for loss, and 8 total tackles.

“Obviously, part of the tough thing with this job and the position are the tough decisions you have to make,” the GM for the Bears Ryan Poles said. “And on the business side, it just made too much sense for what we’re trying to do. It’s going to allow us to continue to build a highly competitive roster.”
