Davante Adams will apparently get his long-term deal after all. It just won’t be in Green Bay.
Reports indicate Adams is heading to Sin City for two “prime picks,” just days after telling the Packers he had no interest in playing under the Franchise Tag in 2022
The Packers’ offseason has been marked by the frustrations of its two most talented players.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers hinted to media he was thinking about retiring before signing a record-setting $50 million per-year deal last week.
When Adams learned a long-term deal wasn’t in the cards for him, he told the franchise he wouldn’t play in 2022 if he was tagged.
So, the team is apparently moving on.
Blockbuster: Packers are trading Pro-Bowl WR Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for two prime 2022 picks, league sources tell ESPN.
