An NFL investigation into Raiders WR Davante Adams’ altercation with a freelance videographer is now a foregone conclusion.
With misdemeanor assault charges being filed against Adams, his case now falls under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
That also means it will take time — even though the main evidence is likely already gathered. Adams bumped into the man following a Raiders loss two weeks ago — an act that was recorded by live cameras.
But the NFL, per standard policy, waits for the legal process to play out.
Given the fact charges were just filed, it’s not uncommon for a case to linger for a year before anything is settled.
While it does, Adams will continue playing, including Sunday against the Houston Texans.
