Damar Hamlin’s toy drive tops $4 million

After the horrific injury suffered by Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin in last night’s Monday Night football game, many fans of the NFL and otherwise have supported Hamlin in an incredible way.  

Hamlin after a tackle suffered cardiac arrest, was given CPR and taken the University of Cincinnati hospital last night where he remains in critical condition.  Hamlin has a charity which now has reached nearly $4 million since Monday night.

Hamlin’s charity supports a toy drive giving toys to the daycare in his hometown of McKees Rocks, PA.  Going into Monday night, Hamlin’s GoFundMe page had less than $3,000 in donations, but as of 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, the donation total was up to passed $3.6 million.

The game itself between the Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was postponed.  All of the sports world has continued to tweet out support and prayers for the Hamlin family.
