Crosby leads league in TFL’s through week 6

Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby leads the NFL in tackles for a loss through six weeks, racking up 11 impact plays over that span.

The 25-year-old, who also has 6 sacks, has been a consistant bright spot for a Las Vegas Raiders team that has struggled to execute this season.

Za’Darius Smith ranks second in the category with nine TFL’s,  showing the Minnesota Vikings they were right to sign him to a three year deal this spring.

At age 30, Smith looks like he was right to bank on himself, too, agreeing to an incentive-laden deal that boosts his pay for reaching certain statisitcal marks.

With 5.5 sacks through 6 games, he’s already on his way to hitting an 8.5 sack bonus, his contract shows.

Cowboys star Micah Parsons and Bills Edge rusher Von Miller are tied for third in the league with 8 TFL’s, statistics show.
