Dallas Cowboys Free Agency Grade

Adding Michael Gallup on the quick, and during an injury year, looks like one hell of a value for a wide receiver after seeing some of the crazy deals NFL teams doled out in March

In doing so, the Cowboys keep a solid, ascending player who is at minimum, a very good No. 2 receiver.

Most of the Boys other key pickups were also returnees, including Jayron Kearse (76.8 PFF Grade), an underrated cover safety who locked down some of the game’s best tight ends last year.

Nate Washington projects as a top backup after some up (2017) and down (2021) seasons with the Steelers.

Dante Fowler Jr is a bargain at $1 million but that’s because he’s never lived up to the hype. He now joins his fourth team in six years. If DeMarcus Lawrence can be his Aaron Donald (11.5 sacks w/ Donald on Rams in 2019) this move will be a legendary one. The team could use a little luck.  Tackle La’el Collins and Amari Cooper’s departures could loom large over the season.  And then there’s Randy Gregory’s surprise switcharoo, after initially looking like he’d be a longtime Cowboy.
