Cappa and Karras sign with Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals made some very important upgrades to their offensive line on Monday.

Alex Cappa signed a $35 million/4 year deal, and Ted Karras signed a $18 million/3 year deal.

Cappa, a right guard, had 1 penalty and allowed 5 sacks in 2021 after allowing 0 in 2020. Karras, a C/G, had 2 penalties and allowed 3 sacks in 2021.

Interesting note is that the Bengals used 3 right guards last season with Xavier Su’a-Filo (124 snaps), Jackson Carman (462 snaps), and Hakeem Adeniji (555 snaps) for a combined 8 penalties and 3 sacks allowed.
