Grant Morgan, LB, from Arkansas signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on May 2nd as an undrafted free agent (UDFA). Most UDFAs in the NFL face an upward battle of making the 53-man roster. Morgan, is no stranger to needing to prove himself to earn playing time. I fully expect Morgan to not only make the 53-man roster, but to be a contributor this season.
Grant Morgan started his college career with the Arkansas Razorbacks as a walk-on in 2016. He played in every Arkansas game in 2017, and he earned a full scholarship prior to the 2018 season. He was voted as a team captain in 2020 and 2021, and that right there should show the value Morgan brings to his team on and off the field.
Grant Morgan had over 100 tackles during each of the 2020 (110) and 2021 (101) seasons. This included impressive TFLs in 2020 (7.5) and 2021 (7.0). His play has earned him many awards and recognition over the past few seasons.
