Hendon Hooker to Raiders?
As the Raiders continue to work out the contract with their new QB Jimmy Garoppolo, a rookie in the upcoming draft continues to be linked to Las Vegas.
Tennessee Quarterback Hendon Hooker has been on many analysts’ Mock Draft Projections as a Raiders draft pick.
Hendon Hooker could be a target for the Raiders in either the second or third round while the Raiders address needs on the offensive and defensive line in the earlier rounds.
The Raiders have addressed the need to provide valuable target for either Garoppolo or Hooker in Free agency signing Jakobi Myers.
The Raiders met extensively with Hooker and were reported as being very high on him.
Hooker’s skill set should fit well into McDaniels system.
With Garoppolo’s recent injury history, he may be called upon sooner than later if the Raiders draft him as their future leader.
The Raiders have 12 Draft Picks for the upcoming 2023 Draft. Most recently they received a third round pick from the NY Giants after trading All-Pro but injury prone TE Darren Waller.
The draft is scheduled for April 27th – 29th in Kansas City.
