The AFC West’s talented teams will be under the lights a lot this season.
All combined, the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos will play a rare 19 games during prime time in 2022.
That total ranks as one of the most for any division during the Super Bowl era – and the highest total since the NFC East in 2015.
That slate begins right out of the gate with the Denver Broncos and their new quarterback, Russell Wilson, facing his former team, the Seattlw Seahawks.
On week 2, the Chargers face and Kansas City Chiefs in an early competition for the division.
Three of the division’s four teams play in five primetime games. Nine other teams also play in five primetime games: the Bills, Bengals, Buccaneers, Cowboys, Eagles, Packers, Patriots, Steelers, Rams, and 49ers.
