It is that time of year where the top prospects come together in Indianapolis to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine. One of the most popular events, if not the most popular, is the 40-Yard Dash. There will be some contenders trying to crack the all-time fastest 40 list this year. During the 2022 NFL Combine, 2 players, Kalon Barnes (DB, Baylor) and Tarik Woolen (DB, UTSA) cracked the Top 5 all-time fastest 40 list.
Update: The fastest 40-Yard Dash Times of the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine
- DJ Turner II, DB, Michigan – 4.26 seconds
- Jakorian Bennett, DB, Maryland – 4.30 seconds
- Trey Palmer, WR, Nebraska – 4.33 seconds
- Deonte Banks, DB, Maryland – 4.35 seconds
- Emmanuel Forbes, DB, Mississippi State – 4.35 seconds
Will any prospect on our “To Watch” list crack the Top 5 all-time list? Will a prospect we don’t have listed crack the all-time list? Or will no prospect in 2023 make the all-time list?
