The 2022 NFL Season is finally here, starting with the Buffalo Bills visiting the LA Rams. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium is set for 8:20 PM EST tomorrow on 09/08/2022. The Bills are a 2.5-point favorite in the latest odds from Caesars Sportsbook.
The Buffalo Bills are 8-5 in the all-time series against the Rams, including winning seven of the last nine meetings. The Bills won their last matchup in 2020, which took place in Buffalo. The Bills have also won their last 3 road visits to the Rams (2 were in St. Louis).
Von Miller, who played for the Rams in 2021, is expected to make an impact for the Bills’ defense this season. Miller had 5 sacks in 8 games with the Rams, after joining from the Denver Broncos where he had 4.5 sacks in 7 games.
To offset the loss of Von Miller, the Rams added Bobby Wagner from the Seattle Seahawks. Wagner only had 1 sack last season, but he had 170 combined tackles (career high). Wagner will join Leonard Floyd, who posted 9.5 sacks last season with the Rams.
Anytime the Rams defense comes up, one needs to mention Aaron Donald who is currently sitting at 98 career sacks. Most are expecting Donald to hit the 100 career sacks mark early on in the season. Donald is one of the most disruptive interior lineman in NFL history. Could we see it happen in the season opener?
This should be a very good game, as both teams have very favorable Super Bowl odds. The Bills are +600 to win it all (the best odds to win), and the Rams are +1100 to win it all (the 4th best odds).
Some things to consider:
I am picking the Bills to win and I also like the under (52 points) for this game.
